Setting up Skillset Categories
| 1. | Open the SKILLS tab by selecting from the menu, then clicking on the SKILLS tab. |
To Add a New Skillset Category
| 1. | Click the button on the toolbar, the button at the bottom of the pane, or place your mouse over the skillset categories, right click, and select from the menu. |
| 2. | Click the button at the bottom of the right-hand pane. A <New Category> entry should appear already highlighted. |
| 3. | Type the new category. It should automatically overwrite the words <New Category>. |
| 3.1. | If it does not, click on <New Category> once with the mouse, then type the new category. |
| 4. | Click the button on the toolbar, the button at the bottom of the pane, or select from the menu. |
All users will need to exit and re-open RecruitTrack™ to have the change take effect.
To Edit a Current Skillset Category
| 1. | Click the button on the toolbar, the button at the bottom of the pane, or place your mouse over the skillset categories, right click, and select from the menu. |
| 2. | Double-click on the skillset category you wish to edit. A cursor should appear. |
| 3. | Modify the skillset category. |
| 4. | Click the button on the toolbar, the button at the bottom of the pane, or select from the menu. |
All users will need to exit and re-open RecruitTrack™ to have the change take effect.
To Delete a Skillset Category
| 1. | Click the button on the toolbar, the button at the bottom of the pane, or place your mouse over the skillset categories, right click, and select from the menu. |
| 2. | Select the category you wish to delete by clicking on it once with the mouse. |
| 3. | Click the button at the bottom of the pane. |
| 4. | In the Delete Item dialog, select the button. |
| 5. | Click the button on the toolbar, the button at the bottom of the pane, or select from the menu. |
All users will need to exit and re-open RecruitTrack™ to have the change take effect.
