Add an Education Record

The only required field is School Name, so only steps 1, 2, 3, and 16 are required.

 

1.Open the individual record and click on the EDUCATION tab.
2.Place your mouse anywhere in the gray pane, right click, and select New from the Right click menu.
3.In the Education screen, select School Name from the drop-down list or type in a new name.
3.1.The school names available in the drop-down list are determined by your Administrator.  However, if you see an Edit List... option in the drop-down, you also have the ability to add values to this list.
4.Select Grad Year from the drop-down list or type in the four digit year.
5.Enter the Date Started and Date Completed by typing into the fields (mm/dd/yyyy) or select the large arrow to use the calendar.
6.Select the individual's Major from the drop-down list or type in a new major.
6.1.The majors available in the drop-down list are determined by your Administrator.  However, if you see an Edit List... option in the drop-down, you also have the ability to add values to this list.
7.Select the Degree type from the drop-down list or type in a new degree.
7.1.The degree types available in the drop-down list are determined by your Administrator.  However, if you see an Edit List... option in the drop-down, you also have the ability to add values to this list.
8.If the individual received a degree, select the Degree Conferred checkbox.
9.Enter the Major Units Completed by the individual.
10.Enter the individual's Minor, if applicable.
11.Enter the title of the individual Thesis, if applicable.
12.Enter any Scholastic Honors the individual received.
13.Enter the name of any Honor Societies the individual was a member of.
14.Enter any Sports the individual participated in while in school.
15.Enter any Special Training that the individual received in school.
16.Click the "Save & Close" button.
